Xsens Expands Family of Motion Trackers
Netherlands company Xsens announced that it has recently added to its fourth-generation motion tracker portfolio with the release of a new series of self-contained 3-D tracking modules.
The MTi 1 series combines an inertial measurement unit, a vertical reference unit, and an attitude and heading reference system that incorporates sensor fusion and miniature microelectromechanical systems technologies. The systems have one degree root mean squared for pitch and roll measurements.
Pricing for the MTi 1-series units starts below $70, according to a company press release, and development kits are now available.
