The House Unmanned Systems Caucus is hosting a panel discussion on the commercial applications of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The event is set for July 23, 2015, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Gold Room, located at 2168 Rayburn House Office Building.

 

AUVSI will moderate the discussion and feature representatives from industry associations, including the American Farm Bureau Federation, Edison Electric Institute, Motion Picture Association of America, Associated General Contractors of America, and the National Association of Realtors, describing how their members already are deploying UAS technology.

 

The panelists will highlight the benefits of unmanned systems to their industries, providing a great opportunity to hear from key sectors of our economy that are embracing this emerging technology. From inspecting utility lines and surveying property to filming movies and providing farmers with aerial views of their crops, the applications of UAS are only limited by our imaginations.
