General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) says it is ready to lend its Angel One UAS to help with humanitarian efforts across the world.

The UAS could be used to deliver food and aid for those in need, such as those affected by natural disasters, or those in war-ravaged areas.

Based on the company’s jet-propelled Predator, the Angel One is capable of flying up to three missions of three hours each per day to complete mass deliveries. Thanks to an internal bay door release mechanism, the UAS can conduct two evenly distributed drops of aid per mission.

According to the company, the Angel One is capable of delivering 8,500 pounds of humanitarian daily ration packets, which could feed 3,400 people per day.
