Analytical Graphics, Inc. has entered into a partnership with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and its Air Traffic Management Research Institute in an effort to create an unmanned air traffic management system.

In order to create this system, Skyvue, AGI’s recently created business unit, will provide ATMRI with support that includes software, training, and subject matter expertise.

“AGI is highly invested in the international UAS community and is looking forward to sharing Skyvue's expertise with ATMRI to help develop safe operating standards,” said Bob Hammet, AGI vice president of integrated solutions, through a press release.

With the goal of creating the country’s first research and development institute dedicated to air traffic management, ATMRI was created in 2013 by NTU Singapore and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.

Meanwhile, Skyvue, which was established over the summer, was created to provide expertise in beyond visual line of sight flight operations for UAS.

These companies will be the latest to work in the realm of UTM solutions. One of the leaders in this area right now is NASA, which recently completed the second phase of its UTM technology capability activities.
