Locus Robotics, a developer of autonomous mobile robots for warehouses, has raised $26 million in Series C funding.

Locus will use the funding to scale production of its multi-bot platform for warehouse fulfillment. The funding will also be used to expand Locus' sales and marketing efforts, both in North America, and internationally.

With Locus’ multi-robot technology, warehouse operators can achieve more efficient fulfillment operations, all while managing both labor costs and seasonally fluctuating order volume.

Locus says that thanks to its technology, customers are seeing doubling or tripling of fulfillment productivity with near-100 percent accuracy, while saving 30 percent or more in operating expenses.
