Delair has announced its new subscription program called Delair Takeoff, which allows customers to access the company’s Delair UX11 family of UAS, as well as the company’s cloud-based data management platform, delair.ai.

After paying a fixed monthly fee, customers have unlimited use of Delair’s long-range, fully equipped UAS. Currently, the plan is only available to customers in Europe, and a six-month minimum contract is required.

The program provides 48-hour drone replacement guarantee in case of an accident. There is a limited out-of-pocket cost in instances where there is a user error or accidental damages.

“This Delair Takeoff program provides the ultimate in flexibility, predictability, and cost-effectiveness for customers who don’t want to lay out an upfront capital expense for a high-performance drone platform,” says Chase Fly, Delair UX11 product manager.

“Delair is providing a new level of accessibility for commercial drone users who need to incorporate highly precise and insightful aerial intelligence into their business operations.”

Designed for highly precise and efficient mapping, the Delair UX11 provides integrated features for before, during and after flight operations. Delair says that this includes an embedded global shutter camera, centimeter-level precision GNSS sensor, post processed kinematic (PPK) capabilities for survey-grade results, and both 2.4 GhZ wireless and 3G/4G cellular connectivity to operate anywhere.

The UAS can fly up to 59 minutes while covering more than 300 acres at 400 feet. Built specifically for agriculture and vegetation management, the Delair UX11 Ag model provides multispectral data with PPK positioning, allowing for “precise georeferencing for repeatable analysis of individual plants,” which is beneficial for a variety of applications including seed breeding, precision agriculture, or range management.

According to Delair, pricing for Delair Takeoff starts at €1250/month.
