Delair has partnered with UAS resellers and service providers Frontier Precision and Seiler Instrument to expand its customer service operations with the qualification and opening of its first two repair and maintenance centers in the United States.

Frontier Precision and Seiler Instrument will provide comprehensive customer support for Delair’s Delair UX11 advanced mapping and surveying UAS.

Delair worked with technicians from both Frontier Precision and Seiler Instrument to certify them on the latest maintenance and repair processes, which are required to optimize the operations of Delair's UX11 UAS.

Seiler’s training took place in Toulouse, France where Delair is headquartered. Delair notes that it worked with Frontier Precision and Seiler to make sure that they each have an adequate inventory of parts and spares, as well as the required tooling to perform repair and maintenance on the specific Delair UAS models.

“It’s important that our customers in the US have access to experts service and support so we can minimize down time when their drones require maintenance or repairs,” explains Michael O’Sullivan, Channel Sales manager North America at Delair.

“Having a team of trained and qualified technicians like those from Seiler and Frontier Precision on the ground in the US, will ensure a more efficient service process and reduce the amount of time that our customers’ drones are out of operation due to either routine maintenance or damage from operations.”

Considered one of the largest suppliers of brand name surveying and supply equipment in the Midwest, Seiler Instrument has been a reseller of Delair UAS for several years. Seiler operates a service and repair facility in Saint Louis, Missouri, which is where it will support the Delair UX11 UAS.

One of the largest geospatial equipment distributors in the world, Frontier Precision’s service operations are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Denver, Colorado. The service operations are expected to streamline its ability to provide local expert service to its U.S. customer base.
