In recent months, the UAS industry has made significant progress toward scalable commercial drone operations – which in turn is unlocking valuable uses and increasing access to more communities. With commercial drone operations expanding, it is important for drone operators to demonstrate compliance with UAS pilot rules. 

Operators seeking to conduct commercial drone flights must obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to demonstrate that they understand the regulations, preflight considerations, operating requirements, and procedures for safely flying drones.
