PHOENIX, AZ (April 5, 2023) — Plug and Play celebrated the official launch of its newest location in Arizona today during an event in Phoenix alongside the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA). Last month, Plug and Play announced their expansion to Arizona, and today, they released the names of their first three founding partners of this new location: Intel, Honeywell Aerospace and Raytheon Missiles & Defense.

Wingcopter Secures $22 Million in Series A Funding to Aid in COVID-19 Relief

This Week in the Unmanned Systems and Robotics World Wilson Logistics will equip 1,120 of its trucks with Locomation’s platooning technology, with the first units to be delivered in 2022. Sentient Blue takes top prize of GENIUS NY competition

A team from Italy called Sentient Blue is the winner of the $1 million grand prize from Round Three of the Genius NY accelerator. “We at Sentient Blue are honored to have been selected as the winner of GENIUS NY 2019,” says Saif Akanni, CEO and CTO of Sentient Blue. “This award is a real milestone for Sentient Blue; it will allow us to establish the company in Central New York and accelerate our growth and development.”

Recognizing the need to revitalize its procurement process, the Pentagon established a fast-track organization two years ago that would accelerate delivery of critical new technologies and systems to its warfighters.    Under the office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, the new Defense Innovation Unit, known as DIU, would serve as a direct pipeline to connect military customers with non-traditional businesses.
