Cape, which builds software that unlocks the “true potential of drones,” has partnered with Consortiq to provide its customers access to best-in-class UAS training and management consulting services.

One of just three commercial companies certified to deliver training for AUVSI’s Top Operator Program (TOP), Consortiq was also awarded first place in the Training & Education Organization category during AUVSI’s inaugural Xcellence Awards earlier this year.

Cape says that this new partnership will allow it to close the gap between today’s regulatory environment and industry best practices, giving its customers the ability to be trained and certified in the TOP by Consortiq.

“Having trained more than 1,000 operators globally, we have seen first-hand the impact that drones have on businesses today, from driving operational efficiencies to improving safety,” says Bryan McKernan, Vice President of Consortiq.

“We are thrilled to partner with Cape, one of the world’s leading commercial drone software providers, to help their customers gain the skills and expertise needed to execute on the most successful drone program possible.”

Besides training, Consortiq also offers CQNet, which is its Safety Management System platform that is designed to virtually manage any UAS operation, including pre-flight risk assessments and management, aircraft maintenance schedules, real-time airborne data and aircraft positioning, and both pre-flight and post-flight checklists.
