SeeByte has renewed all SeeTrack and Neptune licenses currently operated by the Royal Navy’s Maritime Autonomous Systems Trials Team (MASTT).

Working in collaboration with ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK, SeeByte, which is part of the Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) Mine Countermeasures and Hydrographic Capability program, will be offering full support and maintenance for MASTT.

The software is integrated into MASTT’s AUV fleet to coordinate the vehicles during Mine Countermeasure (MCM) missions.

“We are delighted to continue working with the Royal Navy’s MASTT and provide them with the latest version of our software tools, and up to date training to support their unmanned mine hunting missions,” says SeeByte’s Technical Client Manager, Alastair Cormack.

Some of the other specialist modules purchased for MASTT include an embedded Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) to optimize MCM missions and help MILOC detection. These other specialist modules will also be renewed with full support and maintenance.

SeeByte’s SeeTrack provides a single integrated system that enables mission planning, vehicle monitoring and sensor post-mission analysis for all unmanned assets for survey operations. SeeByte’s Neptune is run through SeeTrack, and it provides payload control architecture, goal based mission planning, and real-time autonomy engine to plan and execute well known patterns of behavior.
