Experts to discuss integrating unmanned technology into networks

Arlington, Va. – Two experts from the wireless industry will share their perspectives on integrating unmanned systems technology into wireless communications networks during a webinar hosted by the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT.

Robert Dalgleish, senior solutions manager at Ericsson, and Christopher Desmond, principal engineer in Network Engineering and Operations at Verizon Wireless, will share their views on the benefits and challenges of using unmanned technology on wireless networks. They will also explore the growth opportunities in unmanned systems for wireless providers, such as fleet management, beyond line-of-sight operations and long-range wireless charging.

Registration for the webinar is complimentary for AUVSI members and qualified media, and $49 for non-members. Registration will close on Sept. 6 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. For more information or to register, contact Tom McMahon at tmcmahon@auvsi.org or (571) 255-7786.
