Measure, which is a U.S. provider of UAS technologies for enterprise customers, has announced that it has acquired Pilatus Unmanned, a company that specialized in UAS customization for commercial customers, and was one of the first Enterprise value-added resellers for DJI.

The acquisition of Pilatus Unmanned is another indication of the rapid growth taking place at Measure, which recently introduced new technologies and toolkits for the solar and broadcast news industries.

“This acquisition will accelerate growth and allow us to continue to create groundbreaking solutions for our customers in energy, construction, telecommunications and media,” says Measure CEO and co-founder Brandon Torres Declet.

“Expanding our engineering capacity and our ability to provide one-stop shopping for equipment and toolkits will help ensure that we can offer our customers solutions that are truly comprehensive.”

Through the acquisition, Josh Kornoff, Pilatus Unmanned CEO, will now lead Measure's UAS engineering team out of its new office in Huntington Beach, CA.

The office includes an industrial facility with the gadgets necessary for UAS customizations, including machinery, tooling, parts and components.

“Measure is at the forefront of the emerging Drone as a Service industry and is fundamentally changing the way businesses gather information critical to their operations,” Kornoff says.

“I'm excited to continue pushing the envelope in using drone technology to solve business challenges.”

Kornoff will also fill the role of lead technical advisor for Measure, and he will oversee support programs for toolkit customers.
