McCollum Wins Member of the Year

Lauren McCollum, chair of AUVSI’s Advocacy Committee, has been named Member of the Year for her dedication to the association. McCollum is director of legislative affairs for intelligence, joint, and science and technology programs at Lockheed Martin.
In 2015, McCollum created a Technical Advisory Subcommittee of top subject matter experts to formulate AUVSI’s response to the FAA’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Small UAS. She also recommended the board of directors establish the AUVSI Political Action Committee to support congressional candidates involved with the unmanned systems community.
