AUVSI and its DEIA Advisory Group present AUVSI’s Emerging Leaders Program to recognize and foster leadership potential within the uncrewed systems industry.  This year-long course grows leadership skills that can be applied in your current role, enhances your visibility within the industry, and provides invaluable connections with existing industry leaders. In this program, you can attend our VIP Reception at XPONENTIAL 2024, be featured in our eBrief publication, convene with industry leaders who act as course speakers, and emerge with a unique set of skills that position you to lead.

Participants will: 

• Be within the first 3 years of professional affiliation with the uncrewed systems industry
• Be currently employed by an AUVSI member organization
• Contribute a unique/diverse voice to the Emerging Leaders Program and the industry

Course Outcomes:

• Intentionally self-reflect on strengths and weaknesses
• Develop healthy professional/personal habits that lead to a healthy work-life balance
• Demonstrate influence without authority in your current organization
• Understand the big picture of the autonomous industry
• Provide service as a form of leadership

Course Format:

AUVSI’s Emerging Leaders Program takes place from January through December with once-per-month virtual meetings (approximately one hour each) and optional exercises between each meeting. Each unit consists of three meetings: a skill introduction, an industry speaker, and a closing roundtable, all hosted in Aville — an AUVSI community.

2024 Program Price — $399 (can be paid by your organization):

• Registration to XPONENTIAL 2024 in San Diego by volunteering as a session room chair — ~$1,200 value
• Feature in an AUVSI eBrief — ~$1,500  value
• CliftonStrengths Assessment — $55  value
