At the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show, AutonomouStuff will showcase its newest R&D vehicles that are a part of the company’s Automated Research Development Platform.

The vehicles, with AutonomouStuff’s software installed, are capable of completing several autonomous functions, including the ability to drive on autopilot on the highway, LiDAR odometry and mapping, and waypoint following.

“We have played an instrumental role in igniting the reinvention of transportation,” AutonomouStuff’s CEO Bobby Hambrick said in a press release.

“This announcement is one more example of our dedication to revolutionizing the future of this industry and our commitment to help make our customers more successful.”

The new R&D vehicles include the Ford Fusion, Polaris Ranger and Polaris GEM. These vehicles will join the company’s original R&D vehicle based off the Lincoln MKZ.

Hambrick credited the AutonomouStuff team and its partners for the successful integration of the technology on these new vehicles.

“The provided platforms offer proven reliability and safety along with features that greatly benefit researchers and industry leaders interested in the future of autonomous driving,” Hambrick said. “This is thanks to the work of our amazing team as well as partners like Dataspeed and Polaris.”
